Noire Essentials Candle Co. embraces the essence of home and aims to elevate your living space through the transformative power of scent. Inspired by travel, the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, and redolent botanicals in our founder’s garden, each fragrance is meticulously crafted to bring you closer to nature with every burn.
I’ve been captivated by candle flames since I was nine. We lost power during Hurricane Alicia and had to rely on candles as a source of light. It was my grandfather’s comforting words “Never be afraid to sit in the dark as long as you have a little light” that sparked my love for candles. The gentle glow and rhythmic flames soothe the mind and help to reduce stress and anxiety during times of uncertainty. Candles have been a guiding light for me during moments of relaxation, meditation and celebration.
My grandparents’ perfume collection introduced me to the realm of fine fragrances and the power of scent. But it was my mother’s self-care and wellness rituals of burning candles and incense that ignited my interest in home fragrance. I learned the scent of your home affects your mood, emotions and overall enjoyment of your living space.
After spending over 20 years burning candles as a wellness routine, I wanted to create a collection of luxury candles with soul-stirring fragrances that burned cleaner and lasted longer than paraffin-based candles with the same high-quality fragrance profiles as the luxury candle brands many of us covet.
With a discerning nose for fine fragrance, I sought guidance from a local perfumer in Seattle, who was trained in Grasse, France, to delve into the world of natural oils, synthetics, and essential oils. She helped me understand the components of creating a luxury candle. Following a year of fragrance, wick, and wax testing, I introduced my inaugural collection of luxury candles, promising multisensory experiences that transcend seasons.
Inspired by nature’s healing botanicals, places traveled and emotions. Each fragrance is meticulously designed to evoke feelings of joy, relaxation, and wonder without overwhelming the nose.
When you light your candle from Noire Essentials allow the flickering flame to serve as a radiant message of peace, light and love from my house to your home.

Our candles are made from a blend of coconut soy wax that is vegan, eco-friendly, biodegradable, cruelty-free, and free from toxins and harmful chemicals like parabens and phthalates. The coconut wax used in our candles is derived from the natural oil of coconuts, making it a more sustainable option.
Our fragrances are created by perfumers dedicated to the art of perfumery. We ensure consistent quality and safety by using only phthalate-free, functional blends with essential and perfume-grade oils, avoiding harsh chemicals and cloying synthetics for a clean, irritation-free experience.

We embrace an aesthetic that intensifies the purity of light. Instead of using ceramic or matte glass to conceal wax imperfections, we choose clear, recyclable glass that magnificently showcases the true beauty of the candlelight. For extended ambiance after the candle’s life, we recommend you re-purpose our vessels as floating tea light holders to place throughout your home. Our vessels can also be upcycled to enjoy a beverage of your choice.
